Esteemed Colleagues;

Our 10th International Congress will be held on October 17-21, 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel in Çeşme/ Izmir. We have prepared a comprehensive scientific program with international participation. The panels and seminars with our expert colleagues, to especially include innovations in cardio-vascular surgery, will further enrich the scientific perspective of the congress.

Additionally, preparations are under way to present endovascular procedures and offer a series of training courses for our junior colleagues. We provide the opportunity for perfusionists, and health care professionals to present and discuss about different problems on cariopulmonary bypass, intensive care, and cardiac rehabilitation.

As we commemorate the 20th anniversary of our association's founding, we are planning an enriched social program for the congress. During those intervals when we are not ensconced in our scientific activities, we hope our members have an enjoyable time with their families. This is the time of year when Çeşme's climate is generally very pleasant. Definitely worth visiting are areas of natural beauty and historical significance such as Çeşme Castle.
